Such a sad day for New Hampshire, especially the community of Brentwood. Police officer Stephen Arkell was killed in the line of duty Monday afternoon after responding to a domestic dispute.

Arkell, was a 48-year-old married father of two.  Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his friends and the entire Brentwood community.  Governor Maggie Hassan ordered flags be flown at half-staff in honor of Officer Arkell.

Investigators say Arkell was shot to death before a fire and explosion destroyed the home on Mill Pond Road.  Investigators believe the alleged gunman forty-seven-year-old Michael Nolan died in the fire and subsequent explosion. A third person was taken to a hospital. The identity of that person has not yet been released.

Police in Connecticut issued a multi state Amber Alert for three boys who went missing Sunday during a weekend visit with their mother.  Vernon police are looking for the children and their mother, 32-year-old Jackie Morris, who is believed to be driving a red 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with the Connecticut license plate 876YGJ. Morris has ties to Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine.

Farmers And Activists Plan Rally
Some farmers and activists plan to rally today as Maine's Supreme Court takes up a case involving raw milk. The high court is hearing arguments in the case of a Blue Hill farmer who ignored state law and followed a local statute allowing farmers to sell milk directly to consumers.

Taylor Harrison of Florida allegedly posted some selfies on Facebook that showed him dealing drugs. The Martin County Sheriff's Office then shared the photos on its Facebook page after Harrison's arrest, along with a shot from an undercover camera capturing Harrison selling drugs to an undercover officer.

A blonde went into an appliance store and tried to buy a television.  The salesman told her they do not sell to blondes. Angry, the blonde stormed out of the store, went home and dyed her hair brown. She went to the store the very next day and tried once again to buy a television. The salesman again told her they do not sell to blondes.  The woman asked how he knew she was blonde.  The salesman said...'because that TV you're trying to buy is a microwave."
