Food For Fines at the Portsmouth Public Library

If you owe the Portsmouth Public Library any overdue book fines, here is your chance to pay them up and do a good thing for the local community at the same time. 

It's a program called Food For Fines and all proceeds benefit The Seacoast Family Food Pantry. For the next week, the library will be accepting donations of non perishable food items in exchange for paying off your late fees. The program runs through December 10th. Food donations need to be new and unopened in order to be acceptable. Call the library at 603-766-1704 for more information.
