The site of the former McDonald’s restaurant on Ocean Boulevard at Hampton Beach has been sold.

The seasonal McDonald's, which had been in operation since the 1970s, closed it's golden arches for good earlier this year. Now, comes word from Seacoastonline.com that the property has been sold!

Seacoastonline.com reports the building was purchased by the owners of The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, Inc. and will house JB's Seafood. The new walk-up style restaurant will reportedly feature items such as: lobster rolls, steamers, wraps, burgers and more.

JB's Seafood, is co-owned by Jimmy Trainor of the Boardwalk Inn and Cafe and Bob Schaake, who manages the Hampton House Hotel. JB's Seafood is planning on opening mid-June, according to seascoastonline.com.
