Former Portsmouth Police Chief Writes Book, Robbery Protocol And Kellie Pickler
Former Portsmouth Police Chief David "Lou" Ferland wrote a book and he's not making a dime off it. 'Lou' as he's known to many retired from the police force in 2012. He is now a professor at Mount Washington College and has written a book on the history of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. 'Lou' is not making any money from this book. Laconia police say an 82-year-old man in a wheelchair has died after he was struck by minivan. Police say John Giuffrida was crossing the street in his motorized wheelchair on Saturday when he was struck by the minivan. The crash remains under investigation.
