Fugitive Arrested After High Speed Chase Through Rochester

(Rochester,N.H.) - A fugitive from Vermont was taken into custody this afternoon after a high speed chase through Rochester. Police say Rueben Adams sped past them going the wrong way on union street at nearly 100 MPH.

He eventually crashed his vehicle and proceeded to take off on foot through the snow. Police were able to track him to a garage on River street where he was finally apprehended without incident. Adams will first be arraigned on charges in New Hampshire and then turned over to authorities in Vermont.
