Funtown Splashtown USA Faces Outrage for Bullying Autistic Child, but It Wasn’t Them

Saco's Funtown Splashtown USA found themselves in an outlandish predicament after receiving irate phone and Facebook messages from customers last Friday night. 

Apparently a water park in Texas with the name Splashtown got into trouble last week over a bullying incident. The story was picked up by multiple news outlets, and eventually ended up on Ellen. From there, people saw the name 'Splashtown' and assumed it was the one in Maine.

Some callers told the park they'll never bring their families again and that the Funtown Splashtown employees should be ashamed of themselves.

The bullying story involving the Texas water park is unfortunate and involves an autistic kid. The water park is not backing down and is inferring that the story is a lie.
