Gas Prices Fall Again

(Dover, NH) - Gas prices have fallen almost 3 cents a gallon from what we paid last Monday, and the downward trend is expected to continue. 

According to gasbuddy.com, the average price of a gallon of regular in New Hampshire is $2.11.  That's an 8 cent drop from a month ago, and 99 cents lower that this date last year.

The average price in Massachusetts is $2.12. In Vermont it's $2.20 a gallon and it's $2.21 a gallon in Maine.

Nationally, the average price of a gallon of regular is $2.20.

South Carolina has the lowest average price in the nation at $1.88 a gallon, while in Hawaii, they pay an average of $2.90.

The highest recorded price in New Hampshire over the past 7 years was $4.03 in July of 2008. On January 2 of 2009, the average price had fallen to $1.58 a gallon.
