The Garrison Hotel, a boutique hotel in the Ascend Hotel Collection, just opened at 200 Sterling Way, Dover. If you're not familiar, that's right behind the new Dunkin Donuts that opened on the roundabout on Silver Street.

The Garrison Hotel has an assortment of sixty-six rooms ranging from a standard double, all the way to rooms featuring kitchenettes.

The hotel is steeped in Dover history. Featuring displays from the Woodman Museum, Port Hospitality Group Marketing Director, Katherine Bouzianis says the hotel with have rotating items from the museum featured in a sitting area in the hotel lobby.

Besides an impressive entryway, the Garrison Hotel has a heated indoor pool, fitness center, and an outdoor patio. Ms. Bouzianis says plans are in the works for even more amenities in the coming months.
