( Concord,N.H. ) - Governor Maggie Hassan signed a bill into law today that gives the Attorney General's Office and the Racing and Charitable Gaming Commission more power to audit and investigate charity gambling events. The idea of greater oversight  for things like Monte Carlo nights was brought up last fall when the state was considering whether to allow full blown casinos in the state. Officials say as much as $75 million dollars is bet each year in the name of 389 charities.
