According to NHPR, the motion to increase road tolls was scheduled to be voted on next month but now it won't even be on the agenda.

Governor Chris Sununu has been against the effort to raise tolls and his opinion has not changed after attending public hearings on the matter.

Judging by the reaction on the Governor's post, commuters in NH are relieved to not have to bear this extra cost. However, not everyone is happy about the news.

Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky is disappointed because the toll increase would result in $36 million that would have been used for various highway improvements across the state.

Are you happy with Governor Sununu's decision?
