Can you imagine not having a cold beer to enjoy if you so choose? That was the world as people knew it during Prohibition way back when. But President Roosevelt changed all of that on April 7th, 1933.

On that day, it was no longer against the law to open up a beer even though the official repeal of Prohibition didn't take effect until December 5th of that same year. Where would country music be if Nashville didn't have cold beer to write and sing about?

Celebrate with us as America On Tap comes to the Raitt Farm Museum in Eliot on June 27th. We'll enjoy over 100 beers from America's finest craft brewers. All of this would not be possible were it not for National Beer Day.
