If you've ever been to the University of New Hampshire, chances are you've walked right by this beautiful and rare Japanese tree without knowing it's low maintenance secret.

Ginkgo Biloba

The video above is not a prank, (or from UNH), in fact, several YouTubers have footage of this ancient and endangered tree shedding all of its leaves in just a few short hours.

No muss, no fuss.

You'll find the one at UNH right outside James Hall. The beautiful fan shaped leaves are unlike anything you'll typically see in this hemisphere.

This particular tree's leaves turn a beautiful bright shade of yellow (at least they did when I was a Wildcat circa 1997) though its common for them to stay green even after they fall.

During my 4 years at UNH, I never did see that tree shed it's leaves, it always seemed to happen on the weekends.
