BBC News explored the heroin crisis in New Hampshire that is wrecking lives and killing loved ones.

Heroin is cheap, addictive and destroying our local communities one poor soul at a time.

New Hampshire has a serious drug problem. Hundreds of people are dying from overdoses each year, and hundreds more require medical treatment from emergency personnel. Things are really bad and, to top it off, our state is the 49th worst in providing treatment per capita.

The state government is working on tackling the heroin crisis, but in the meantime we have tragic stories like the ones highlighted by BBC in their two-part series about heroin addiction in New Hampshire.
