Help! Spaghetti Squash Stresses Me Out

Spaghetti Squash. Those two words bring me so much stress because I can't figure out how to cook it!

I'm reaching out to you asking for help. Do you cut it in half,  Do you cut it lengthwise? How do you cut it without losing a finger or two? Do you microwave it? Do you put it in the oven? There are so many recipes online that it's very confusing for a cooking novice like myself.

If you have a fool-proof way of cooking Spaghetti Squash, please let me know. I thank you in advance.
