Here’s Why Fat Belly’s in Portsmouth is Temporarily Closed

Electrical Issues have halted business at the popular Seacoast spot 

According to Seacoastonline, Fat Belly's Bar & Grill on Bow St. in Portsmouth has been closed since Friday night.

Apparently the problem stems from Eversource, the building's supplier of power.  Owners of the building say they've made arrangements with Eversource to make a permanent fix but that has yet to happen.

The problem stems from the electrical connection on the exterior of the building.

This is the second time this year that something has happened to a popular eatery in this area of town.  You may recall a fire at the Gaslight across the street stopped business there back in December.  The business has yet to reopen.
