A group in Virginia is trying to re-unite ex US military K-9 service dogs with the handlers they had while serving our country.

According to a representative of the group, government contractors left the dogs at Mount Hope Kennels in Virginia. They are now trying to find the individuals who worked with the dogs in order to give them an appropriate home.

The dogs took part in bomb sniffing missions while there. According to WWBT-TV in Richmond VA, some of the dogs have been treated for PTSD and other issues.
