House Committee Votes to Repeal Death Penalty[NEWS]

(Concord, N.H.) The House Criminal Justice and Public Works Committee voted 14 - 3 today to pass House Bill 1170  which would ultimately repeal New Hampshire's Death penalty. 

The bill's prime sponsor and the committee vice chair, Representative Renny Cushing of Hampton, said after the vote "it's been a long process and we still have a long ways to go" The full house will vote on the bill within the next month.
