How Do You Feel About Kids Getting Participation Trophies?

Washington National’s right fielder Bryce Harper made some parents mad the other day when he said kids shouldn’t get participation trophies for youth sports. He said trophies should only be given to the first place winners.

I agree 100% with Bryce Harper. And after years of coaching my boy’s Little League     teams…I think kids feel the same way, after a certain age. Participation trophies are great for little kids playing T-Ball or their first year of coach pitch ball. But after that, only the players on the championship team should get trophies.
