How I Know Summer is Finally Here

It's is own sort of phenomenon, but as soon as the McDonald's on Ocean Blvd opens, it seems scores of people flock to Hampton Beach.I don't know if it has something to do with McFlurries, Quarter Pounders, Egg McMuffins or just knowing the 'Golden Arches' on Ocean Blvd are waiting to welcome you, but it never seems to fail.  According to the Lane Public Library, it appears this particular McDonald's opened up in 1977.

For the next couple of months, Hampton Beach belongs to those who survived one of the nastiest winters on record. Enjoy your time on the beach and have fun.
