Even though they receive less airplay that today's current crop of singers, two legendary singers, Garth Brooks and Toby Keith, lead the survey what country acts made last year according to Forbes Magazine. Here is the list.
1. Garth Brooks, $90 million
Garth had a comeback year last year with "Man Against Machine" and a tour that helped him hit the top spot.
2. Toby Keith, $53 million
Toby celebrated by being inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame earlier this year.
3. Jason Aldean, $43.5 million
Being on tour with Kenny Chesney this year won't hurt Jason a bit. The tour wraps up at Gillette Stadium August 28th and 29th.
4. Luke Bryan, $42.5 million
Three sold out shows at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion and we can't wait for him to come back!
5. Kenny Chesney, $42 million
We're just weeks away from Kenny's return to Gillette for the first time in two years.
6. Tim McGraw, $38 million
Tim deserves special credit for giving homes away to veterans on his 2015 "Shotgun Rider" tour.
7. Florida Georgia Line, $36.5 million
BK and Tyler are new to country music but this gives you an idea of how popular they've become in just a couple of years.
8. Zac Brown Band, $32 million
Zac gets us into August with three incredible shows at Fenway Park.
