I admit I drink way too much coffee and the worst part of it, late into the evening.

A report in USA TODAY says research from the University of Colorado says that caffeine consumed late in the day resets our internal "circadian rhythm"  with potential health side effects ranging from obesity to cancer.  Caffeine delays the production of melatonin the hormone we need to help us sleep setting back our  "body clock".    Additional studies are showing that staring at a computer screen before bedtime also has an effect on the amount of melatonin our bodies produce.

Use your own judgement, but it does make sense.  For a guy like me it's breaking old and potentially bad habits.

I won't give up coffee but I've got to knock off coffee after dinner and shut down the computer (and television) earlier.   I don't want to be "wired" like the guy in the photo...no that's not me.
