My Plea to Executives at Dunkin Donuts – Open More 24-Hour Locations!

Many of you know I am a loyal Dunkin Donuts customer. Always have been, always will be. However, I blame them for my crankiness in wee hours of the morning.

The main reason I hate getting up so early is because there are no 24-hour Dunkin Donuts locations between my house and WOKQ! I leave so freakin' early in the morning the majority of people are still in REM sleep. I beg of the Dunkin Donuts executives, please, please, please open more 24-hour locations along the seacoast of New Hampshire. That way, I don't have to look and feel like this poor creature and scare the you-know-what out of my co-workers!

Yes, I could detour off my route to get to an open Dunkin's, but that would mean getting up a few minutes earlier than I already do. That's not going to happen!

I've been known to visit more than one Dunk's in a day. I know there are some Dunkin's that are open 24 hours, but not-a-one on my route between my house and the WOKQ studios. There are days when I go to Dunkin Donuts in the evening and get my coffee for the following morning, But, sometimes my schedule doesn't allow that. Mainly because I have fallen asleep on the couch watching re-runs of The Big Bang Theory.

It's just that on some days, like today, I was craving a Dunk's French Vanilla coffee. So much so, I almost blew past the studio and headed for downtown Dover to go to the 24-hour Dunkin's on Central Avenue. But, that little voice inside me said, 'don't be late for work!'

I do have a coffee maker at home. It's a dual kind of coffee maker. You can make a pot or use a K-cup. I am ashamed to admit, I do not know how to use the K-cup side of the machine. And, I'm not going to make a full pot for just one cup of coffee. Plus, it would mean getting up earlier, and again, that is NOT going to happen.
