Is My Blood Thinning As I Get Older?
I have always said I prefer cold over heat. Because you can always throw a sweater or a blanket on to get warm. You can't always cool yourself down. But, it seems the older I get, the more I dislike the snow. Maybe my blood is thinning!
Growing up in Massachusetts, all the snow, nor'easters and blizzards never bothered me. As a kid, I was constantly outside playing in the snow, skating, sledding and having snowball fights.
As I got older - well into my thirties, I worked in downtown Boston, either driving into the city or taking the train. It was nasty, but I was used to being caught in killer gusts of winds that ripped the breath right out of your body.
But now it seems, as the years pass by, I just don't like it anymore! I don't venture outside nearly as much as I used to.
Don't get me wrong, I still prefer the cold weather over high heat and humidity, but it's the snow! I HATE SNOW! I can't be the only one who feels like this?
