We should all appreciate whatever abundance of coffee there is for the moment, because according to a recent report, that may be changing in the near future.

Last week, Bloomberg Business reported about a potential looming coffee shortage because Brazil may not be able to keep up with the worldwide demand for java. They also cite rising temperatures in the region where widely used Arabica beans are grown as contributing to the future shortfall of coffee.

Growers are looking at expanding production to parts of Asia and Africa to address the situation. The issue was discussed at the Global Coffee Forum in Milan, Italy last week.
