This is not an unexpected promotion for Zootopia (sorry Judy Hopps). No, this is an honest to goodness real story.

Kudos to the Concord Monitor headline writers for using remarkable restraint in reporting "Bill to ban bestiality hits resistance from New Hampshire farming reps." Turns out New Hampshire is among ten states not to have any laws on the book that specifically prohibit the act. Neighboring Vermont is one of the others, so bravo New England.

While there are other laws that cover most instances, such as animal cruelty, legislators argue that a more specific law would make prosecution less difficult. Representatives in farming communities are opposed to due to concerns about how it may affect animal husbandry. No mention was made regarding animal wifery.

You really should just read the Concord Monitor article. There is even comment from a dude who is described as an expert on the topic. Just know that your search history will be forever altered.
