Kenny Chesney is changing it up when he hits the road in 2019. When and if he'll play New England is the question.

No Shoes Nation will be holding their collective breath waiting for more concert dates to be announced as Kenny Chesney released the first-round of stops for his upcoming 2019 'Songs for the Saints' tour.

The Boot says Chesney will be downsizing for this next trek. He wants to focus on smaller-sized venues, so you can probably bet that Gillette Stadium will not be on any 2019 concert dates. But, that doesn't mean Kenny won't WOW his New England fan-base with other possible arenas or smaller venues, we'll just have to wait and cross our fingers that he adds more dates.

Chesney says: “I wanted to change it up. Last year was so intense, and amazing ... [In 2019], I wanted to go to where the fans live ... strip things back a bit, and make it a little more intimate ... I love reaching to the very top, the very back of a football stadium, but I also love the idea of really being able to see the back of the room.” He goes on to say: “sometimes it’s about stripping things back, and creating a different kind of experience. This is the kind of thing you do for passion ... I never worry about the energy or the passion, but I think the songs are different depending on where you play them. So I’m fired up for 2019.”
