(Dover, NH) -(AP)  The former girlfriend of the man prosecutors say raped and killed a University of New Hampshire coed after she rebuffed his sexual advances is heading to court to testify. Judicial officials confirm the trial judge issued an order that 20-year-old Kathryn McDonough be transported from the state women's prison in Goffstown to Strafford County Superior Court today.

McDonough is slated to be the key witness against 31-year-old Seth Mazzaglia - charged with first-degree murder in the 2012 death of Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott of Westborough, Massachusetts.
Mazzaglia's lawyer told jurors that McDonough killed Marriott during rough sex involving restraints. They say Mazzaglia helped dispose of her body and initially took blame out of his obsessive love for McDonough.
Both sides agree on one thing: McDonough witnessed Marriott's death.
