There's a new way to enjoy your morning cup of joe and you can forget about the sugar and cream -  this cappuccino is flat, crispy, and comes in a little plastic bag. Sound delicious? Disgusting? Dismaying? Well, that's for you to figure out.

Lay's "Do Us a Flavor" potato chip contest finalists have been announced, and the intriguing (but oh-so-wrong) cappuccino flavor has made it into the top four.

Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, Wavy Mango Salsa, and Kettle Cooked Wasabi Ginger are the other three flavors entering the ring to battle it out and take over the role of last year's winner "Chicken and Waffle" as Lay's next new potato chip flavor.

While Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese and potato chips is seemingly a match made in chip heaven, the pairing lacks shock value. Cappuccino and Wasabi Ginger, on the other hand, could be either the greatest thing since Snuggies or utterly nauseating - and there's overwhelming intrigue in picking one of those flavors and taking that chance.

And let's just leave fruit flavors for juices and fresh salads. I don't see an invitation for Mango Salsa to the salty, crunchy potato chip party anytime soon.

Perhaps fortunately (team cappuccino!), I don't get to decide which chip flavor wins. In just a few days, public voting will open on the Lay's website. Results from that will crown the potato chip champion.

So starting July 28th, try a flavor (or four) and cast your vote. In the meantime, utilize this topic for any lulls in conversation. Turns out people have some fairly strong opinions when it comes to the good ol' potato chip.

Who do you think will win this potato chip hunger games?
