Leaven Beer & Bread: A Hidden Gem in Somersworth

If you're looking to explore some great eats outside of Portsmouth's hopping culinary scene, a trip to Somersworth's Leaven Beer & Bread is worth the trip.

The menu changes regularly, but this what it looked like on June 21st.

With bread being featured in the name, it should come as little surprise that it is simply delicious. Scoop the roasted garlic straight from the clove and spread it on a fresh baked, warm slice-- soooo delicious!

The beer selection features craft brews from throughout New England. We sampled selections from Moat and Shed during our visit. You'll also want to leave plenty of room for dessert. The wonderful S'Mores Brownie is more than big enough for two and a great deal at only $6. Check out those marshmallows!
