UPDATE: Maine Man Wanted For Hit & Run Death Of His Pregnant Girlfriend Now In Custody[NEWS]

Maine State Police say the man wanted for questioning in connection with a hit & run death in Lewiston has been located. Evaristo Deus was located out of state and is being held by a law enforcement agency. State Police will travel to the location to question Deus. Police are not saying where Deus was located or being held.

(Lewiston, Maine) -  Maine State Police are searching for a Lewiston man after a fatal hit & run accident Tuesday in Lewiston.

33 year old Evaristo Deus is believed to be driving a 2001 Suzuki SUV with Maine license plates 6593 UJ. The vehicle was used in the hit & run accident that killed Deus girlfriend, 32 year old Laudrinha Kubeloso, who was 4-months pregnant. Kubeloso had moved from Angola to Lewiston during the past year.
