(Porter, Maine) - Two brothers are facing charges after police uncovered a major marijuana growing operation in Porter, Maine.

State Police, The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Oxford County Sheriffs Department converged on the storage area of The  Laundromat on Bridge Street . The search there and in other areas of town led to the discovery of 11 pounds of processed marijuana and 109 live plants. The value of the seized drugs is $80-thousand.

Police charged 53 year old Mark Viera and 55 year old Richard Viera, both of Porter, with Cultivating Marijuana
