Chio and I had the chance to speak with the VP of Development for Make a Wish New Hampshire, Donna Parker. She informed us that so many children right here in New Hampshire have wishes that are being put on hold because of Coronavirus. Any trips to amusement parks or chances to meet celebrities have been halted until there is a vaccine. There are other kinds of wishes that can be granted locally for example, building a tree house or gifting a child with a sweet new puppy.

The pandemic is also hindering the way that Make a Wish NH is able to collect to donations. That is why their 12th Annual Breakfast for Wishes virtual event is extra important this year. Wishes are building up! And once travel bans are lifted and the world gets back to normal they are going to hit the ground running and will need the funds to make these wishes come true.

Visit the Make a Wish New Hampshire website to register for this event on August 13th. A link will be sent to you closer to the event and it will open at 7:45 and begin at 8 am sharp. Feel free to invite your friends, family and coworkers! I know I have wanted to give back to the community during this time and it is sometimes tough to decide which organization to donate to. All of the donations that are collected by Make a Wish New Hampshire are used to grant wishes for terminally ill children in our communities. That is a cause that anyone can get behind.
