Gatsas made his announcement this morning.
In his officials press release, Gatsas stated, “I am proud of all that we have achieved in Manchester, and excited by the opportunity to bring my executive experience and leadership to the State House in Concord.  As Mayor I have worked hard to improve city infrastructure, foster an environment where economic development can grow and thrive, bring new educational opportunities to our students and worked to keep Manchester safe.Just as I have done in Manchester, as Governor of the State of New Hampshire, I will work tirelessly to build partnerships and gain consensus so we can overcome our challenges, meet the needs of our citizens and get things done.We need strong leadership in Concord to combat the deadly opioid epidemic, to reduce the burdening health care costs affecting so many New Hampshire families, to create a climate for increased economic development and innovation and to return control of our schools to the local communities. In the coming months I look forward to meeting with people across our state to discuss their concerns, learn about the issues unique to every region of New Hampshire and listen to their ideas for how we can move the state forward together."

This morning paperwork was filed with the Office of the Secretary of State officially creating the political committee “Friends of Ted Gatsas” to support Mayor Gatsas' efforts to seek the corner office.  Andy Crews, President & CEO of AutoFair will serve as Chairman.
