Manchester Monarchs Celebrate AHL Championship Tonight

The Chicago Black Hawks may have won the Stanley Cup last night, but New Hampshire can have some local pride after the Manchester Monarchs won the American Hockey League's Calder Cup trophy.

The Monarchs defeated Utica 4-1 to win the AHL championship according to NH-1 News. The Monarchs will host a championship celebration beginning at 6 pm tonight at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester where the trophy will be on hand as the team hangs its championship banner.
