Good news for teachers and students in the Queen City!

On Tuesday night, Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas presented his fiscal budget for the 2017 year stating he wants to improve public safety, roads and education for his newest budget tasks.

In an article posted in the Union Leader, Gatsas stated he'll devote "every additional dollar" of the tax cap to go to education in the city.

So where did the money come from?  The city budget was lowered in the process.

Recently, Mayor Gatsas announced a run in the next Gubernatorial race.  He's been criticized for his lack of enthusiasm in education in years' past.
