Mass. Man Dies In Hampton Toll Booth Crash

(Hampton, NH) - A Massachusetts man was killed Monday afternoon in a crash at the Hampton Toll Plaza.

State Police believe that 88 year old Forrest Bishop of Merrimack, Massachusetts may have had a medical condition that led to the accident just before 1:30 Monday afternoon.

Bishops vehicle was reported to be operating erratically on I-95 Northbound and he ignored police attempts to stop the vehicle. He drove into a closed section of the Hampton toll plaza and struck the concrete barrier separating two lanes.

Bishop was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital after the crash and was pronounced dead a short time later.
