Mazzaglia Murder Trial Continues [NEWS]

(Dover, NH) - The prosecution continues presenting evidence in the first-degree murder trial of Seth Mazzaglia in Strafford County Superior Court.

The State contends that Mazzaglia strangled, raped and murdered 19-year old UNH sophomore Elizabeth Marriott in his Dover apartment in October of 2012, then dumped her body in the Piscataqua River in Portsmouth. The body has never been found.

The defense says that it was Mazzaglias' then-girlfriend, Katherine "Kat" McDonough that caused Marriotts death accidently during a consentual sex act. McDonough is expected to testify against Mazzaglia in the trial.
