Employees are demanding $15 an hour

WMUR reports that earlier today, a small group of protesters gathered at the South Willow Street McDonald's location in Manchester demanding $15 per hour in pay for employees.

Originally the protesters were inside the restaurant, but after a visit from police they were asked to exit (apparently not understanding general rule of thumb that protests typically gather outside an establishment to create public awareness on such a matter.)

Chants caught on video included, but were not limited to "hold the burgers, hold the fries, make our wages super sized"

This protest is one of many going on throughout the country demanding $15/ hour for fast food employees.

Since this morning, the crowd split up and has disbanded.
