Himalayan rock salts lamps have been a trendy piece of home decor lately. You may have even given or received one of these over the holidays. Be aware they are being recalled for possible shock and fire hazards.

If you are one of the many that have one or more of those Himalayan rock salt lamps in your house...check the label immediately because thousands are being recalled from the popular craft store, 'Michaels.'

According to the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Comission), the recall, which affect three lamp styles is because the dimmer or switch and/or outlet plug can overheat and catch fire.

Rock of Gibraltar Lamp, SKU 495144, UPC 00886946056253
Carnival of Lights, SKU 495433, UPC 00886946058325
Basket of Rocks, SKU 495146, UPC 0088694605627

The lamps were sold at Michaels stores between July and November 2016, but also online on Amazon.
