Missing Parrot Comes Home With New Language Skills

This is the story of Nigel The Parrot.

Nigel lived in Torrance, California,. His owner had taught him to speak using a British accent.

Four years ago Nigel flew the coop. Nobody knows where he's been, or how he survived. What we do know is he turned up on the doorstep of a dog grooming business. With the help of a vet to read Nigel's micro-chip, they found Nigel's owner and reunited the two.

Nigel is doing well, but his owner reports that Nigel now speaks Spanish in addition to English. Nigel also keeps asking for someone named Larry.
