Police allege that she was looking for GoFundMe donations

Police in Merrimack, NH have charged 20 year-old Taylier Tibbetts with making a false police report.

The charges allege that she altered photos of her son to make it look as if he were injured in order to make a GoFundMe page to pay for his injuries.

Tibbetts filed a report to police in November stating that her 3 year old son had been abused by his father.

Shortly after that, a GoFundMe page was set up.

But police say she altered the photos in order to make it look as if he was injured when in fact he was not.

WMUR reports that the boy's father says he's never abused his son.

"I am a good father. I take him to the park, bounce houses.......She's claiming that I’ve been abusive for the last three years. We’ve been in the court system for the last three years fighting for him”

DCYF has investigated.  Police say there doesn't appear to be any signs of abuse.

A court date for Tibbetts is set for May 24th.
