More Arrests Made In Somersworth Assault/Robbery

(Somersworth, NH) - Somersworth Police have arrested 5 more people in connection with the assault and robbery that took place on January 17 at an apartment on Main Street.

The victim had been lured to the scene with an ad for "personal services" placed on backpages.com, but when he met with a female at the apartment he was jumped by several males and was beaten and robbed.

Several arrests were made a few days after the incident , and this week police arrested 22 year old Matthew Nuernberg of Somersworth, 20 year old Chelsey Barrat of Somersworth  and 21 year old Joel Leary of Milton on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

26 year old Jennifer Chandler of Somersworth was charged with two counts of Hindering Apprehension.

18 year old Tyler Irving of Somersworth was charged with possession of Cocaine and Marijuana.

Somersworth Police say they do not believe this assault and robbery was an isolated incident, but expect no other arrests as their investigation continues.
