Colin about to lash coast
Tropical Storm Colin is gaining speed and strength as it gets ready to strike Florida later today. Colin's maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph with some slow strengthening possible over the next two days. Forecasters say the center of Colin is expected to approach the coast of the Florida Big Bend area this afternoon or evening. And eastern Georgia and the coast of the Carolinas could get up to 8 inches of rain through tomorrow.

Massive fire in Manchester
Four people are dead, one firefighter injured as crews battled a massive early morning blaze that went to five alarms today on Wilson Street in Manchester. The identities of those that perished have not been released. The firefighter apparently sustained a leg injury. The case of the blaze is under investigation.
