11th hour deal for Greece
Greece is pulling back from the brink of financial collapse. A new deal with European creditors would avoid an exit from the euro and the global financial chaos that prospect had raised. The deal calls for Greece, already reeling from harsh austerity measures, to cut back even further in exchange for more loans.

Woman, 80, drowns in pond on her property
Authorities say an 80-year-old New Hampshire woman drowned in a small, private pond on her property. Police responded to the East Kingston property about 5:15 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report that the woman went underwater and did not resurface.

Police: Skowhegan man knocked unconscious, robbed
Skowhegan police are seeking the public's help in identifying the person who knocked a man unconscious and robbed him of his money and prescription medication. Police say the victim, James Fletcher, of Skowhegan, told investigators he was at a storage facility at about 2:45 p.m. Sunday when he was attacked. The victim did not know who attacked him but says when he came to, his money and medication was missing.
