If you're a coffee drinker and you bring your own mug to work, you're probably not going to like what I'm about to write. 

Chuck Gerba, a University of Arizona microbiologist says, 90 percent of coffee mugs are covered in germs. The main reason is because most people just wash out their mugs with a germ-laden sponge instead of in a dishwasher. If you're like me and have coffee/tea stains in your favorite mug, enjoy these lifehacker tips as to how to get rid of them.

Alleged shooter apprehended in Arizona
Police in Mesa, Arizona, say they don't know why a 41-year-old ex-convict allegedly went on a rampage Wednesday, shooting six people, killing one of them. The shootings happened at a motel, a restaurant and an apartment complex, where Ryan Giroux eventually was taken into custody. Police also accuse him of carjacking a vehicle. State corrections officials say Giroux has served three stints in state prison.

Trump heading to New Hampshire
Real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump is heading to New Hampshire as he once again considers a presidential run. Trump will attend a reception today at the Amherst home of Republican state Representative Steve Stepanek. The visit comes one day after Trump announced plans to form a presidential exploratory committee.

Prisoner gets two years for assault
Authorities say an inmate at the federal prison in Berlin has been sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting another inmate with a weapon made out of a combination lock inside a sock. A federal correctional officer also suffered injuries last year when he tried to intervene. Myron Armstrong had pleaded guilty to the assault.
