Sewage closes Hawaii beach
Sewage is fouling popular beach in Hawaii for the second time in a week. Hawaii American Water says a million gallons of treated but not yet disinfected wastewater was discharged from the East Honolulu Wastewater Treatment plant into the ocean on Tuesday, after a power cable that runs the chlorination system shorted out.

Jurors resume deliberations today in prep school rape trial
Jurors will resume deliberations today in the case of a recent prep school graduate accused of raping a freshman girl two days before he graduated. Prosecutors say Owen Labrie raped the 15-year-old girl before he graduated last year from St. Paul's School in Concord as part of a tradition known as Senior Salute, in which seniors seek out underclassmen for sex before leaving campus.

Shaheen, Ayotte and McLane Kuster to hold forum
Three members of New Hampshire's congressional delegation are hosting a forum about the Veterans Choice program and two new veterans' health clinics in the North Country. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte and Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster are being joined by Veterans Administration officials at the forum today at White Mountain Community College in Berlin.
