Two Americans killed in Brussles attacks
At least two American citizens have been confirmed killed in this week's attacks in Brussels, a U.S. official says, as Secretary of State John Kerry is visiting the city to express his condolences to the Belgian people.

Senate approves substance abuse funding
The state Senate has approved more than $5 million in fresh funding to fight the state's substance abuse crisis. The 24-member body is unanimously backing the bill despite a partisan spat over where the money should come from. Fighting heroin and opioid addiction is a top priority for lawmakers this session.
