Plunge Weekend

Flights still canceled due to weekend storm
Some movement is emerging after the paralysis of a weekend blizzard that buried a wide area of the East Coast. But closed schools and government offices underscore the difficulty of getting back to normal. Hundreds of airline flights are canceled today and transit service is expected to be spotty. There were at least 30 deaths, including snow shoveling and carbon monoxide fatalities.

Trump set to visit Farmington tonight
The focus in the presidential campaign remains Iowa and New Hampshire. The Republicans campaigning in Iowa today include Donald Trump, who holds a rally this evening in Farmington. Chris Christie has town halls in Merrimack and Hooksett while John Kasich appears in Newmarket and Manchester.

Police still looking for alleged robber
Police so far have not located a robber in Concord who stabbed a convenience store clerk yesterday afternoon. Police say the attacker pulled a knife during the holdup and asked the clerk if he "wanted to die," with the clerk fighting off the robber with a stick. The clerk suffered a hand wound in the fight.
