GOP caucus day
The Republican presidential candidates are focused on Nevada and its caucuses today. Yesterday, as they crisscrossed the state, Donald Trump urged supporters to participate, but says he's not enamored of the caucus system. Sen. Ted Cruz got cheers for championing gun rights, opposing amnesty for immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally and supporting abolishing the IRS. Marco Rubio picked up more establishment GOP endorsements.

Record number of ballots
The secretary of state's office confirms that a record number of ballots were cast in the state's presidential primary earlier this month. A total of 542,459 people voted in the February 9th primary, topping the record set in 2008 by close to 13,000 votes.
