South Carolina suspect spoke about race
The emerging portrait of the suspect in the South Carolina church slayings of nine people paints him as someone with racist views and at least two recent run-ins with the law. A friend of Dylann Roof says he ranted about black people "taking over the world" and about the Trayvon Martin case. Roof is back in South Carolina after being arrested in North Carolina yesterday.

Dion hearing set for today
A hearing is scheduled for today in Manchester for a man accused of killing his parents and then fleeing the state. Matthew Dion is charged with two counts of second-degree murder. Prosecutors say he beat and strangled his parents in March of 2014, and then set their house on fire. Dion was captured earlier this month in Florida.

Marshals in New Hampshire find fugitive in refrigerator
U.S. marshals in New Hampshire found a fugitive in an unlikely spot - inside a neighbor's refrigerator. Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White says members of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force knocked on 41-year-old Jeffrey Nickerson's apartment door in Pittsfield Thursday. Authorities say Nickerson- a convicted sex offender - was wanted on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.
White says Nickerson refused to open his door and fled into a neighboring apartment. After forcing entry and conducting an extensive search in the Park Street apartment building in Pittsfield, White said marshals found Nickerson inside a neighbor's refrigerator. He was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Merrimack County Jail. He is due in court today.
